The SAW-3001 addressable sounders are designed for acoustic signaling of fires in a tone manner. They operate on addressable lines/loops of POLON 3000 systems fire alarm control panels. SAW-3001 are activated at the signal sent by the control panel, when the programmed triggering criteria are met, e.g. when a fire is detected in the selected supervisory zone,
The piezoelectric transducer sounder electronics are housed in a frame similar to the Series 40 detector. There is a place to put a 9V 6F22 battery in the case. To mount the siren on the ceiling or wall, use the G-40S socket made of flame retardant plastic – supplied with the siren. There is a screwless terminals connector – placed in the socket – for joining the installation wires The connector has six terminals, two pairs labeled “+” and “-” as the input and output of the detection line and two terminals for connecting an external 24 V power supply.
